Job Description
Our client is looking for a Registered Nurse to fill a13-week assignment working nights in Med Surg. 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM. 36 hours guaranteed. 28-bed Medical Surgical Unit with a diverse patient population consisting of general and vascular surgery, bariatric surgery, plastic surgery, trauma, and is the stroke unit for the hospital. It is a challenging fast-paced environment with great learning opportunities for both graduate and experienced nurses. Spend your summer on the shores of Lake Michigan in Petoskey.
Compensation of the Registered Nurse
Salary: $51 - $56 / hour based on experience, benefit level and traveler status.*

License Reimbursement (when applying for a license in a new state)

Responsibilities of the Med Surg Registered Nurse
Nursing care is provided through assessment, implementations, and evaluation of the plan of care.
Works collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to maintain standards for professional nursing practice.
Carries out functions according to medical center policy, mission, and standards of practice as defined by professional and regulatory guidelines.
Requirements of the Registered Nurse
2+ years of experience - Required
Previous travel - highly preferred
Must be BLS certified
COVID Vaccinated
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must have strong critical thinking and process management skills.
Michigan State registered nurse license required
