The Hospice Nurse will perform 5-8 visits per day in Calhoun County. This contract is working full time M-F 8AM-5PM and on call one week a month from 5PM-8:30AM weekdays and 24hrs on Saturday & Sunday that week.

Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse

• Point of Care Documentation will be expected
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Regularly evaluate plans of care and update as-needed.
• Educate patients and their families on how to follow care plans.
• Promotes personal and patient safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements and Certifications of the Hospice Nurse

• Current Hospice Experience - Required
• BSN Degree - Highly Preferred
• Michigan State RN License - Required
• BLS

• Salary: $50 - $55 per hour based on experience, benefit level and traveler status.*
