If so, myRNstaffing Solutions is looking for an RN to work a 13-week travel contract in Med Surg treating primarily stroke patients with a typical stay of 12 days. Other types of patients this job cares for are lung and heart transplants, bone marrow transplant, traumas, bilateral joint replacements (3-7 days stay on the unit). This unit does not take patients on ventilators. 36 hours 7 pm - 7:30 am.

Responsibilities of the Med Surg Nurse
Uses professional nursing skills through assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and supervision of individual patient care for the adult Patient population is all ages according to departmental policies and procedures.
Accepts responsibility for collaboration of co-workers in the implementation of patient care.
Organizes and provides direct patient care incorporating clinical decision-making and prioritization of activities.Education of the patient and family/significant other and other health care team member

Covid vaccine
MI RN license
May need to travel to other units or campuses as needed
EPIC Charting experienced preferred
AHA BLS, AHA ACLS
