Our client has a reputation for excellence by providing kind, attentive, and respectful in-home care for more than 50 years. We are looking for team members who will continue the tradition of providing kind and respectful care for patients in their homes. We are assisting them to locate a home care registered nurse for a 13-week travel job covering Northern Michigan - Traverse City, Kalkaska, Northport, and Empire. Nurses see 27 points per week minimum or 5.4 points per day. Visits are weighted with routine visits being worth 1 point. Start of care visits are 2.5 points. Resumption of care visits are 2.0 points. It averages out to 3-6 patients per day depending on the type of visit and the travel required.
Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse
Weekend: Required 1 weekend out of a 4-weekend schedule
Holidays: 1 (Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day)
Must be proficient with IVs, NPWT, ostomies, wound care, venipuncture.
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
Regularly evaluate plans of care and update as-needed.
Educate patients and their families on how to follow care plans.
Promotes personal and patient safety.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Complete all aspects of OASIS documentation timely and provide comprehensive assessments per insurance regulations.

Salary: $57 -$62 / hour based on experience, benefit level and traveler status.
